What Would Happen If You Believed It?

What would happen?

It’s a new year. You’ve learned new things. You’ve fallen down, gotten back up, learned, developed, grown, and changed throughout the past year. But, this is a new year.

Let’s get right to the point today…

I have one question for you. What would happen if you just believed it?

Have you written down any goals for this year? Do you have any personal, professional, or relational accomplishments or marks you want to hit?

If you’ve been here for a while, you might’ve read my blog “BUILD The Life You Dream Of” – which talks about how my family and I choose a word every year that is going to be our mission, mindset, and cornerstone. This year my word is… “Immeasurably More”. I believe that the Lord is doing immeasurably more. He promises in Ephesians 3:20 - "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us". A few things I’ve learned from this verse alone:

1.     It’s not by my own strength, ability, or skill set. Therefore, because of my belief and trust in Him, he is able to do immeasurably more through me, because of HIS power.

2.     Immeasurably more – this means immeasurably more. Not just “sort of” more. This doesn’t mean “our best effort” more. This means immeasurably more than we can ask or think. You can’t even dream of the things He can do. That kind of faith.

With this being said, what would happen if you believed this? What would happen if you handed God your dreams and goals and asked him to do immeasurably more? What if you looked at your goals and tripled what they look like. What if your heart posture was that of, “even bigger” because of the power of an empty grave. Personally, for me, my faith is my cornerstone. I believe in immeasurably more because I have already seen God do that in my life. The more you put it in His hands - His powerful, gracious, caring hands - the more you will see his hands over your life.

It is important for me to offer application in each of my blogs because I know that while mentality and heart posture is half the battle, I also need ways that I can apply practices to my own life.

(1)   I encourage you to start with your goals for the year. If you don’t have goals for the year start there. If you don’t know where to start, go to Copilot or another AI tool and tell them about what your year ahead looks like and to help give you ideas on what goals you should set based on that.

(2)   If you have your goals written, take a look back at them. Look and see which ones can be put in the immeasurably more pile. Double some of them.

(3)   Put those goals into Copilot or an AI program and prompt it to make them in the “SMART” format for you. Find a game plan. It’s great to have goals but they don’t work unless you do.

(4)   Start tackling one step at a time.

(5)   Monitor your progress every month or quarter.

(6)   & Watch.

What would happen if you went all in?

Love always,

Mo
